The building of cultural and educational organizations and community centers by the Jewish community is a long process. Based on the activities traditional for the Jewish community, new ones are formed, which lay the foundations of the community work among the Jews as well. In the period up to 1944, several main centers stood out in which Jewish community centers were built-Shumen, Ruse, Varna, Dupnitsa. In the capital Sofia, three community centers are being built successively, which support the development of Jewish culture and traditions. The preserved documents reveal individual moments surrounding the construction of the community centers. The available memories of public figures and intellectuals provide additional information regarding the first steps of the community work in the circles of the Jewish community and its confirmation in the period 1919-1944.
